Themes on the Web
We hope that the Environment Domain’s Themes on the Web will be a useful resource for staff and students. We hope this will be one mechanism by which people in different Schools, Faculties and Departments can get to know of one another’s work and interests. It is hoped this is one way in which the Domain can help create opportunities for partnering on research proposals and publications or even for developing new perspectives on the impact of research.
Each theme will develop progressively as more contributions become available. We will be working closely with other Domains and the Grand Challenges to populate this resource with information, knowledge and materials.
We have chosen Climate Change as the first topic as UCL does a lot of work on the mitigation of climate change and adaptation to its impacts. The first information piece has been provided by Dan Osborn and draws attention to the UK Government’s response to the Evidence Report for the 2017 Climate Change Risk Assessment.
