Working across UCL to support social science researchers
The Collaborative Social Science Domain (CSSD) encourages methodological innovation, new cross disciplinary collaborations across institutional boundaries, and builds capacity via our Early Career Network and engagement/impact activities.
We support social science researchers irrespective of department or faculty. We want to hear from researchers with social science interests working in law, languages, medicine, engineering, the built environment, the natural sciences etc. as well as those working in the wide range of disciplinary fields in the social sciences.
CSSD's activities are overseen by a Steering Group composed of researchers from across UCL. We also have a 'Big Picture Group' composed of senior academics which ensures that CSSD remains consistent with and alert to UCL's wider and evolving agendas and research priorities, and provides strategic advice to the more 'hands on' Steering Group. The CSSD is chaired by Professor Alison Fuller, Pro Director (Research and Development), Institute of Education, UCL. CSSD has a Strategic Coordinator (Michael Reade) who is a member of the SLASH/IOE Research Facilitation and Coordination Team
