Strategic development of UCL research

In response to the changing research landscape (and with the approaching Research Excellence Framework), the Office of the Vice-Provost (Research) – OVPR – will be refreshing the UCL Research Strategy in the coming months, as well as continuing to deliver on the appropriate parts of UCL 2034.

UCL staff are invited to express interest in a strategic pro bono role working with the Vice-Provost (Research) and OVPR colleagues to develop UCL’s future activities in research coordination, research policy, research impact, research integrity and ethics, and cross-disciplinarity. Please email Sarah Chaytor and Nicholas Tyndale with a brief outline of what and how you would like to contribute.

This is an opportunity to play a role in institutional citizenship; we anticipate that, in the first instance, these roles will require a minimum of five days’ commitment over this academic year. Please use this website to explore current OVPR activities.

Public Policy

  • Bringing academic expertise to bear on pressing public policy challenges by integrating knowledge and evidence from across disciplines to inform policy
