Challenging intellectual disability stigma

A UCL group led by Dr Katrina Scior from the Department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology have created resources to highlight and address stigma faced by people with intellectual disabilities and their families and work taking place to tackle such stigma. The ultimate aim of this work is to reduce prejudice and discrimination experienced by children and adults with intellectual disabilities and their families around the world.

"Students in the East" map UCL in London

What do you get if you cross a group of UCL staff and students with an A0 map of London? On June 8th, a group of UCL staff and students sought to find out, by mapping their connections with London, and reflecting on UCL’s aim to be “in London, of London and for London”.
