UCL Grand Challenge Priority Themes

  • Your small grant proposals must address a Priority Theme as detailed below

As part of its long term strategy Grand Challenges has created a number of Priority Themes which also include ‘Mega-Themes’ led by a specific Grand Challenge but to which all six Grand Challenges are invited to contribute. Click here for a diagramatic illustration

The Grand Challenge Mega Themes are:

For the 2017-18 Small Grants call we have prioritised the Adolescent Lives and Human Displacement Mega-Themes for development.  If, for example, you are interested in addressing the Adolescent Lives mega-theme (led by by Grand Challenge of Human Wellbeing) but from a Grand Challenge of Justice & Equality perpective, just state this theme in the Priority Theme section of the application form and from the drop down list in the the online registration form.
